Harrowing details emerge as missing 14-year-old girl is found in a closet 400 miles from home a month after she vanished.

Police arrested 35-year-old David E. Roark on multiple charges after he allegedly abducted the child from Arkansas.

Roark also had outstanding warrants from Kentucky, according to cops.

His arrest comes after an investigation by the Exploited and Missing Child Unit and the White County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas.

The Wichita Police department were contacted by a White County sergeant after midnight on Wednesday.

The officer was looking for help in locating a 14-year-old girl who left home in early November and never returned, Officer Chad Ditch said.

A lead in the case came when the girl was seen with a man in a convenience store before leaving with him in a car.

White County investigators learned that the suspect was possibly in the Wichita area.

Following an investigation, police found out that Roark was likely staying at a nearby home.

He was arrested when he was seen leaving the house.

Officers then found the missing teen inside a closet.

Both the girl and Roark were interviewed by The Exploited and Missing Child Unit.

Roark is being held in jail on a $1.5million bond.

The U.S. Sun contacted the district attorney’s office for comment but did not hear back by the time of publication.

Madeleine McCann FaceApp-style tech could help crack case:

THE hunt for missing Madeleine McCann could be boosted after a FaceApp-style AI was used to reunite a Chinese man with his family 18 years after being abducted.

Yu Weifeng, 21, was reunited with his family yesterday after police used the technology to predict what the missing lad would look like as a grown man before searching a huge database. 

The AI used by the police was able to predict with high accuracy what the missing boy might look like now – much like the recently trending FaceApp.

Cold-case investigators in Shenzhen’s Futian District, which is in South China’s Guangdong Province, were then able to couple the Tencent AI Lab predictions.

The software spent about two months sorting through nearly 100 candidates before singling out Weifeng, who is a student in the provincial capital Guangzhou.

Investigator Zheng Zhenhai said: “When he found him, he refused to believe that he was a kidnapped child, but DNA confirmed that he was a match with his biological parents.”

Weifeng, whose adoptive parents had given him the family name Li, went missing on 6th May 2001 while playing near a construction site where his dad worked as a foreman.

Zheng added: “We opened the case the day after the incident and we never gave up.

“Technology was limited at the time. 

“We checked surveillance footage, but there were simply too many people coming in and out of the area.”

There are many cases of abducted children being found and returned to their families — even after long periods of time.

The technology could now boost the search for Madeleine McCann, who went vanishing from Praia da Luz in 2007 then aged three.

It comes as British tourists were being urged to take posters of Madeleine on their holidays in a bid to find her.

The official Find Madeleine Campaign website says: “Fortunately, there are many cases of abducted children being found and returned to their families — even after long periods of time. 

“The vital piece of information that leads to a happy and longed-for reunion is usually thanks to a caring and vigilant member of the general public, often recognising a face from a poster.”

After Weifeng was found, investigator Zheng Zhenhai said: “When he found him, he refused to believe that he was a kidnapped child, but DNA confirmed that he was a match with his biological parents.

Family Of Pedophiles Raped Kids For 30 Years Before Being Caught

A sick family raped children during a 30-year campaign of abuse branded the “worst ever case of its kind” by a judge.

Twisted Antony Potts and three members of his family carried out a string of child abuse offenses over the course of three decades.

The 49-year-old was described as a “deeply depraved man” as he was jailed for life at Birmingham Crown Court.

He was convicted of 13 counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault and nine counts of inciting a child to perform a sexual act and cruelty.

Antony was joined in the docket by his dad, Keith Potts, who was caged for eight years alongside his wife, Julie, both for child cruelty.

Antony’s wife, Elaine, and family friend Joanne Hoye were also both jailed for four years after pleading guilty to neglect.

Brother Joshua Potts admitted to multiple counts of rape and sexual assault against children, while his sibling Nathan, 26, was jailed for 16 years for two counts of rape of a child, four counts of sexual assault, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and sex with another adult.

Jailing Antony Potts, Judge Carr told him: “You are a deeply depraved man who has taken many, many opportunities to abuse children and corrupt them.“

These are horrendous offenses.

“In 50 years practice and presiding over cases like this, I cannot think of a worse one.”

The court heard how the sickening abuse first came to light in 1989 when a girl came forward and told cops what Antony had done to her.

But the case was never brought to trial and in May 2015, three more children – all aged under 14 – said they had been abused by Antony and others.

Police were once again called but it was decided there was insufficient evidence to bring charges. However, the case was reopened in January 2016 when a fifth victim came forward.

The full extent of the abuse began to unravel and a further three victims were identified – meaning the vile family could be brought to trial.

Jurors were read emotional victim impact statements giving harrowing details of how the victims were “groomed and brainwashed” by their abusers.

One said the abuse had a “major impact” on her life and she felt she was “let down as a child” by the police.

She also said she has suffered from “constant and daily panic attacks,” has post-traumatic stress disorder and has “reduced self-worth.”

Another victim said: “I want Antony to go to prison all his life so he can’t hurt anyone else.”

Joshua Potts will be sentenced in August.
